There’s still a lot of innovation left when it comes to cars, as is evidenced by the wide-ranging collection of fully redesigned, all-new SUVs, sport coupes, luxury cars, and family sedans, which are leading the way into 2019.
There are also amazing motorcycles coming up in 2019, and while this list isn’t a comprehensive one, it certainly includes the best of the best. Listed below are some of the most compelling cars and motorcycles to look forward to in 2019:
- Jeep Wrangler Pickup: The long-awaited Jeep Wrangler-based pickup truck has a new aluminum structure that is expected to increase fuel mileage by helping with weight savings. The Wrangler will have a body-on-frame architecture, a steel frame, and a powertrain lineup with a 4-cylinder, V6 engine, while not differing that much visually from its predecessors. The vehicle is estimated to cost about $45,000.
- Toyota Corolla Hatchback: The Toyota Corolla Hatchback is a renamed, revamped compact replacing the former Corolla (Scion). The car is wider, lower, and longer, and has a fresh styling with a new, direct-injected 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine with a 6-speed manual transmission/CVT automatic with 10 simulated gearshifts. The car also has standard safety features such as automatic high beam headlamps, lane keeping system, adaptive cruise control, and forward auto-braking with pedestrian detection. The starting price for the Toyota Corolla Hatchback is around $19,990.
- Audi A8: This 4th-gen version of Audi’s flagship sedan features a fresh design. It is equipped with Audi’s configurable Virtual Cockpit instrumentation with a haptic feedback, dual touchscreen infotainment system, a spacious wood and leather trimmed interior. It also has other options such as executive-class rear seats that massage, and it features adjustable head/footrests, a dual-tablet rear entertainment system, heated arm rests, and center console. The car also has improved vehicle dynamics, and a new frontal auto-braking safety system to prevent crashes. The starting price of the car is around $83,800.
- Indian FTR 1200: The Indian FTR 1200 is looking to capture hearts and sales with its heavily revised Scout motor with 120 horsepower and flat-track-derived looks. The performance-oriented motorcycle is a worthy adversary for many naked sport bikes with its 1203-cc twin engine, a huge 43mm inverted front fork, an adjustable monoshock rear suspension, and big Brembo brakes. The price of the bike starts from $13,499.
- Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE+: Kawasaki has heavily revamped its ultra-sport lineup and has expanded its collection with more variants than ever in 2019. However, the Ninja H2 SX SE+ is the most intriguing of all its offerings. The H2 SX SE+ is a sport-tourer with additional componentry for curves. The H2 SX SE+ also possesses a BFRC-lite Showa Balance Free rear shock, a 43mm inverted Showa cartridge fork, and the signature KECS (Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension). Apart from that, it is also integrated with Kawasaki’s Rideology app, has self-salvaging paint, and comes with multiple riding modes. The bike is estimated to cost around $25,000.
